Ancient construction in stone that was used to dry the chestnuts. The house is surrounded by ancient chestnut trees, approximately 750mt. of altitude, near the town of Londa. Originally it was connected with the history of the Castle of Saint Leonino (XII century) of which the lands made part. From here the ruins of the Castle with its bastions can be seen. Pushing the look more far away we can see the Mugello with its several Medicee residences and the Vicchio village where Giotto's birthhouse is found. Florence is about 40 Km far from here and to approximately 30Km we can find the Casentino. We arrive to the House from a nice land white road of about 2 kms. The house, for 5 people, is of approximately 80 mq., restored in the classic Tuscany architecture: terracotta pavements and ceilings in beams.
