The
Villa rises in an area where you find the antique tastes Tuscany, but
also of Umbria and Lazio. The Relais offers it's guests a "gastronomic
tour" in which original and fantasy recipies are blended, thanks to
prestigious cooks capable of interpreting the "poor" cooking of the
peasants and that of the Renaissance.

The
park offers the possibility of relaxing walks among the cypresses and
the great pines, which witness their long lasting fight against the
wind in the bended shape of their trunks.

A
journey to discover crostini (small pieces of toast with a variety of
toppings), "acqua cotta", "ribollita" (a soup of black Tuscan cabbage),
steaks from the famous "Chianina" cattle grilled over charcoal, but
also refinded risottis with top quality meat, compositions of vegetables
to finally arrive at out infinitely tempting desserts. Sandwiches of
a thousand kinds, hand made pasta made with a variety of flours, the
combining of fresh fish and woodland fragrances game meat, and "vin
santo" dessert wine are all born from our chef's capable hands. Rare
Brunello wines, vintage Chiantis and white "Vino Nobile" accompany the
guests in this search which finds an ideal atmosphere on the terrace
in th Chiana Valley.

sight on the valley, where light glints through olive trees, where sunflowers
fill with sun the sweet hills, where stars mesh with distant lights:
