The Castle dates back to the time when the Medici ruled over a large part of Tuscany, and it lays on the beautiful hills surrounding Florence. From the Castle you can enjoy a wonderful view on all directions. Moreover, this historical residence is strategically positioned at comfortable driving distances from the main tourist attractions of the region, such as Florence (25 Km), Siena (45 Km) and Pisa (65 Km). The Village of baccaiano is just one kilometre away, and there you can find food stones, restaurants, bars, a pizzeria, a bank, the bus stop to Florence, tennis courts and a sport centre.

The apartments are located in the beautiful manor house and in the nearby farmhouses - which have been renovated in the full respect of the Tuscan rural style. Each apartment has its own fully equipped outdoor area. A barbecue area is available in the farmyard, with a long common table which is fixed to the ground.

Guests can also enjoy a large 10X20 mts. swimming-pool (with Jacuzzi and solarium), which is positioned in a stunning corner of the Castle ground to grant you a unique view. The swimming-pool is open from May to September (from 8 am to 8 pm). The farm's typical produce can be purchased on-site.

The Castle can host dinners, coursed of all kinds and on request it is also possible to organise meetings, seminars, ceremonies and receptions.
